Custom made up cycled liquor bottle lamps and shades

Lucky Penny Creations was inspired by both the need to find a new hobby as well as necessity.

Our  Story

My name is Rick, and this journey started about 10 years ago.  I was recently divorced and suddenly found myself with extra time on my hands after renovating my new home.  Once I started to decorate, especially my newly constructed “Man Cave”, I found the need for some lamps.  I thought it would be cool to upcycle a few liquor bottles that I had and create a fun and unique atmosphere for my new “Man Cave.’    Life could have easily turned in another direction, instead of spending my time emptying the liquor bottles, I decided to put my mind and hands to work to upcycle them into beautiful lamps. As time went on, friends and family took a liking to the lamps that I had made and were asking for me to make some with their favorite spirit bottle, expanding into some customized lamp shades as well.  Fortunately, I have some friends with bars and restaurants that will give me bottles as I need them, saving both my liver and the many bottles from ending up in landfills.  My custom bottle lamps are all made with three way switch settings, so you may light the light bulb at the top, use the bottle part as a night light (LED Lights) or be able to use both.
